Breathwork Therapy
When we're dysregulated our body's chemistry changes. it's our body's natural response to tell us there is something off. We may become tense, on edge, queasy. Our hearts might begin to pound faster or perhaps we may become dissociated, numb, disconnected. Breathwork is a great tool that helps with becoming grounded. Through breathwork we train our bodies and our minds that, although we are feeling triggered by a thought or a memory, we are safe at this precise moment. It helps us become regulated and empowers us to navigate through today's stressors in a grounded state of mind instead of a reactive one.
